Make short videos about Camera Carbon and get paid for them. Pick a brief below, film it your way, post it, and submit the link. No contract, no back-and-forth: every approved video is paid.
How it works
- Open our campaigns on Whop (link below). Each brief is its own campaign with its own rate.
- Make the video and post it on your own TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
- Submit the post’s link in the campaign. We review submissions within 48 hours.
- Approved videos are paid through Whop for their verified views, until the campaign’s budget runs out.
Campaigns open with the App Store launch. To hear when they do, email [email protected] with your handle.
Open briefs
Briefs open and close with our budget. When a campaign is full it closes, and new ones open as the app grows.
Carbon Match on your gear
Pick a famous photograph in the app, show its Carbon Match for your camera, then go and make the shot. End on your photo beside the settings. The core brief: the more ordinary your camera, the better.
A photographer’s shot, recreated
Choose one photograph by one photographer (Dorothea Lange, Gordon Parks, Ansel Adams…). Say how it was made, using the photo’s “How it was made” page, then recreate it with the Carbon Match.
Same photo, three cameras
One photograph, three Carbon Matches: your phone, a digital camera and a film camera. Show what changes and which gets closest.
What can my camera make?
Add your camera and lenses in Gear and show which famous photographs they match best, and which they can’t. Good for new cameras, thrift finds and Y2K digicams.
Film stock showdown
The same Carbon Match shot on two film stocks. Show the settings for each and the two results.
Shoot mode in the field
Use Shoot mode on location (night mode too) and walk through making the shot, start to finish.
“How was this made?”
Upload a photo you love to the app, show what it says about how it was made, then try it yourself.
Share your shot
Make a Carbon, then share your own photo with its settings card from the app. Show the card and the story behind the shot.
Rules
- Your own footage and your own photographs. No reposts, no clips of other creators.
- The app must be on screen and named, with @cameracarbon tagged.
- Disclose that it’s paid: turn on the platform’s paid-partnership label or add #ad, as the FTC requires.
- Photographs that are still under copyright (most work after the 1960s) can’t be shown full screen. Name the work and show the app’s page for it, or pick a public-domain photograph instead. The app marks which is which.
- No people photographed without their consent, nothing unsafe or unkind, and no fake views or engagement.
We can decline or remove a submission that breaks these rules; declined videos aren’t paid.
